Job Description
In concrete terms, this involves the following tasks:
- As a security project manager, you ensure the realization of the projects assigned to you, taking into account the planning and the required quality. You also provide regular reporting on the progress of the projects and you ensure good communication between the various parties involved.
- You manage and ensure the follow-up of the realization of the projects, taking into account the planning, budget and required quality (drafting of the detailed planning, regular follow-up regarding deadlines, budget and quality, reporting on the progress of the project and the problems identified, communication between the parties involved in the project, risk management).
- You report to the Security Program Manager
- You ensure the “service transition” (operational plan, support, processes and procedures), organize the change management process, the communication plan and support the development and evolution of the delivered project within the organization.
- You take on a motivating, advisory and facilitating role with regard to management, the program manager and stakeholders and work closely with them.
- You also ensure good people management, stimulating, coordinating and motivating the employees involved during the realization of the projects.
Profile

- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or several years of work experience in the field of IT security.
- You have at least 3 years of project management experience including requirements gathering, planning (WBS, multiple dependencies) and cost, time and quality management (project KPIs)
- You have previously documented the infrastructure solutions conceived by architects and analysts and executed by operations staff.
- Experience in security project management, with an active role as project leader, engineer, or other function in at least three domains of IT security, such as network security, endpoint security, IAM, Central Logging, DLP, DRP, PIM and PAM, Threat Modelling, DB-anonymization, secure development, is required.
- You have a certification in PRINCE2 or other project management frameworks
- You have some experience or certification in NIS2, ISO27001, NIST. Describe in your resume in max 10 lines what is essential for a security policy.
- You have a basic knowledge of Dev SecOps
- You attach great importance to coaching and know how to motivate and coordinate the teams involved in the projects.
- You have excellent communication skills and can support these with visualization techniques.
