Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Preparation: Gather, clean, and preprocess data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate and manage data efficiently.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform data profiling, generate comprehensive reports, and present actionable insights to support business decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, quality, and security, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, pipelines, and methodologies to promote maintainability and team collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data analytics and apply them to enhance processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and R programming languages.
- Proven expertise in the Shiny web framework is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working with SQL databases.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with ETL tools and experience in designing and managing ETL processes.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with cloud solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of data integrity, security, and quality assurance best practices.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
- Ability to work in Agile environments and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Strong team-leading skills, with a proactive approach to ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (verbal and written).
