Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
In this role, you will lead projects from concept to completion, integrate electrical systems, ensure quality, and manage deliverables alongside a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies for energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.
- Implement innovative electrical systems to support the green transition.
- Lead projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and monitor progress.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and optimize costs.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
- Innovate and conceptualize new systems to enhance efficiency.
- Research emerging technologies for integration into designs.
- Recommend improvements to processes and implement best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years in electrical engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or maritime industries.
- Expertise in system design, power distribution, and renewable energy.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards (IEC, IEEE).
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus.
