Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects within a program.
- The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with organizational goals, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes that drive business value.
- The Program Manager will act as a central point of communication between stakeholders and project teams, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability: Take full accountability for the programme and project lifecycles, ensuring delivery of sustainable business and customer outcomes.
- StakeholderManagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and influencing decision-making.
- GovernanceandRisk: Manage governance frameworks, risk controls, finances, and resources for the programme, ensuring all deliverables adhere to these frameworks.
- TeamLeadership: Lead and empower teams throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring effective resource allocation and managing dependencies across different programmes.
- ProgrammePlanning: Define and manage the programme’s objectives, structure, scope, and ensure all dependencies and risks are accounted for.
- ResourceManagement: Work with delivery teams to assign appropriate resources for programme execution and ensure that the right people are in place to meet business needs.
- Decision–Making: Be accountable for identifying and managing programme-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Cross–Programme Coordination: Understand and manage the impact that other programmes may have on your own, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
Requirements:
- A programme management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven experience in programme management, ideally within a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong track record of managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
- Experience of delivering strategic programmes aligned with business growth and objectives.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple functions.
- Demonstrable experience of leading cross-functional teams, either directly or through matrix management.
