Job Description
Are you ready to take on the role of Application Security Architect
- As an Application Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of applications and systems across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining application security functions, architecture, services, and the security aspects of solution designs.
- Developing and implementing processes and tools for secure application development.
- Supporting the adoption and integration of DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborating with development teams to enforce secure coding practices (Java, .NET Core, etc.).
- Assisting application teams in integrating essential security tools for logging, monitoring, encryption, and firewall configuration.
- Managing vulnerability management processes through automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST).
- Coordinating remediation efforts for findings from security assessments such as application vulnerability screenings, penetration testing, and dynamic security testing.
Qualifications
- University degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 12 years in IT, with at least 2 years focused on application security.
- Strong knowledge of application security concepts and integration with corporate security tools.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps/DevSecOps, and cloud environments.
- Expertise with technologies like GitHub, SonarQube, microservices, and related tools.
- Background in implementing, assessing, or developing within a DevOps environment.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with DevOps security tools and pipeline integrations:
- Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
- Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Image scanning
- Dependency scanning
- Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST)
