Job Description
As a System Administrator you will
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system-related issues.
- Install and upgrade infrastructure software, including monitoring tools.
- Conduct testing for upgrades.
- Plan and schedule installation work to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor, diagnose, and address hardware or software issues.
- Follow organizational procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
- Install, maintain, and support data center hardware infrastructure, including servers, enclosures, UPS, patch panels, tape libraries, and cabling.
Qualifications
- What would make you a fit for the role:
- University degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in data center hardware infrastructure, including racking, cabling, and connecting hardware.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows/Linux server operating systems and hypervisor solutions like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in network storage systems (SAN/NAS, NetApp, EMC) and central backup solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
- Extensive experience with advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Solid understanding of maintaining and managing data center operations with a focus on security and efficiency.

- SolarWinds Certified Professional
- MCSE/MCSA : Windows Server 2012 or above
- Microsoft Azure administrator
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) or above
- Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 or above
- Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Linux
- VMware Certified Professional 5 – Cloud Management and Automation (VCP5-CMA) or above
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator
- Dell Systems Administrator (DCS-SA) / Platform Engineer (DCS-PE)
- Disaster Recover Certified Specialist (DRCS)
