Test Automation Engineer
Job Description
- A consulting firm is seeking a software testing professional to elevate client test processes through tailored consulting.
- The goal is to enhance test coverage efficiency and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for developing and executing UI and API tests, while also improving and extending existing automated test scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Improve customer testing processes with customized advice to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design and automate test cases to increase testing efficiency.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
- Perform a variety of tests across UI and API levels.
- Review and enhance existing automated test scripts for better reliability and performance.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing and programming within agile development teams (Scrum).
- A degree in Computer Science and certifications in software testing.
- UI testing frameworks.
- Ideally, experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Strong focus on quality, meticulous work habits, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in German and good command of English.
