System Engineer

Introduction:

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control EDI systems and transactions.
• Analyze and adjust mappings, source code, and scripts.
• Work with formats like EDIFACT, XML, and IDOC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors and issues in EDI transactions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting services.
• Use Splunk for log analysis and information gathering.
• Create and run SQL queries in pgAdmin, DBeaver, and Cloudbeaver.
• Extend and improve user documentation.
• Provide technical support for CAD systems, including software installation and updates.
• Manage user and authorization for CAD software (Catia, NX, Speos).
• Provide remote support via RDP or Ivanti Endpoint Manager.
• Handle mainframe incidents and job schedules using internal monitoring tools.
• Perform weekly IPL on different LPARs.
• Provide 1st level support for LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure.
• Resolve network incidents using Spectrum and manage tickets in ServiceNow.
• Support and escalate issues to 2nd level and third parties as needed.
• Supervise Romania’s national borders using C2 software for border patrol and monitoring.
