Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to design and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensuring rigorous and repeatable regression testing across multiple projects.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate with testers, business analysts, and users to optimize testing processes, manage test infrastructures, and oversee both automated and manual testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure rigorous, repeatable regression testing.
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities involving numerous testers, business analysts, and users across multiple projects.
- Actively participate in project analysis to gain a deep understanding of both business and technical requirements.
- Optimize testing processes for specific projects by meticulously analyzing requirements.
- Propose strategic approaches, balancing automated and manual testing based on predefined project characteristics.
- Design and configure the testing infrastructure to effectively execute defined test strategies.
- Manage and contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans.
- Provide guidance, resolve testing issues, and, when necessary, directly execute test cases to support the testing team.
- Generate detailed test reports and actively participate in major release handover procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a testing role, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
Technical Proficiency
- testing processes and methodologies from an organizational perspective.
- scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and Windows or Unix shell scripts for creating, deploying, executing, and maintaining automated tests.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools like Xray.
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- ISTQB Advanced or Expert Certification is preferred.
Skills
- Fluent in English with precise understanding.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
