Electrical Controls Engineer (SN0364)
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Controls Engineer to assist in the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical engineering solutions.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices, while actively participating in project execution, system integration, and on-site supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical engineering solutions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Participate in project coordination from initial design to final installation, liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and installers to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time project completion.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
- Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical control systems to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications.
- Review proposals, plans, and engineering designs in coordination with clients and contractors to enhance project efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- electrical systems, control systems, and regulatory standards.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese.
