Job Description
We are seeking an experienced API Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency data management systems. Our platform is built using Go (Golang) and supports high-volume, real-time traffic with an in-memory database for fast data retrieval.
- The API plays a critical role in our infrastructure, requiring continuous improvements in architecture, caching strategies, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-performance APIs for handling real-time and batch data processing.
- Architect and maintain low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Improve system scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Work with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS) and manage deployments using Kubernetes.
- Enhance caching mechanisms to support millions of queries per second.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve system architecture.
- Lead and mentor engineers, fostering best practices in API development.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience developing high-performance, distributed systems.
- 2+ years of experience in people management, with 4+ years in technical leadership.
