Mechanical Engineer (SN0383)
Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee and optimize preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair breakdowns, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for equipment and vehicle installations.
- The ideal candidate will be involved in equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements, while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and execute Preventive Maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose breakdown causes and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment installations and vehicles comply with regulatory standards.
- Assist in project planning for the installation of new equipment.
- Implement modifications and improvements to equipment, plant, and processes.
- Ensure calibration of instrumentation, including weighing systems, flow control, and level indicators.
- Develop and maintain safe work systems, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Standards.
- Provide technical advice, training, and support to managers, supervisors, and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours).
