Job Description
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainability initiatives within our organization.
- The ideal candidate will oversee environmental performance, conduct audits and assessments, and drive improvements to reduce our ecological footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards relevant to company operations.
- Implement environmental policies to promote sustainable development and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor and analyze waste management, water and air quality, and chemical substance control.
- Conduct environmental audits and assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and certification requirements.
- Organize training programs and raise awareness among employees regarding environmental practices and emergency procedures.
- Provide expert advice to management on environmental risks and their impact on strategic objectives.
- Prepare and present environmental performance reports to senior management.
- Coordinate initiatives related to pollution management, recycling, resource conservation, and environmental preservation.
- Assist in the development and management of budgets for environmental strategies.
- Represent the company in discussions with environmental authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Track and report key environmental performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and propose improvement projects to minimize the environmental impact of company activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
