Job Description
We are seeking a Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies.
- This role will involve designing, developing, and executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Execute Tests: Design, implement, and execute unit, integration, functional, regression, and acceptance tests using industry-standard tools.
- Automate Testing: Utilize PHPUnit, Behat, Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber to enhance test automation and efficiency.
- Test Management & Reporting: Use tools like TestRail or Zephyr to document test cases, track defects, and generate detailed test execution reports.
- API Testing: Validate API functionality and performance using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Database Validation: Use SQL queries to verify data integrity and consistency.
- Vulnerability & Security Testing: Conduct cybersecurity assessments and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
- Defect Analysis & Communication: Identify, document, and clearly communicate defects and potential risks, collaborating with developers for quick resolution.
- Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with evolving testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
