Cyber Security Engineer (SN0449)
Job Description
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and enhance security solutions across Windows, Linux, and Cloud environments.
- In this role, you will play a critical part in securing IT infrastructure, assessing risks, developing policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust security posture.
- You will work closely with architects, SOC teams, and business stakeholders to build resilient security systems that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy comprehensive security solutions for Windows, Linux, and Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Security Architecture: Review and optimize security architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and working closely with the lead security architect.
- Risk Management: Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation strategies to reduce risks.
- Policy Development: Define and enforce data and application security policies to maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Incident Response: Act as a point of escalation, collaborating with SOC teams and IT operations to investigate, manage, and recover from security incidents.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development, business, and operational teams to integrate security best practices across all projects.
- Security Awareness: Clearly communicate security risks and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
