Expert Business Analyst (SNS01100)
Job Description
We are looking for an Expert Business Analyst who will perform work in the context of the Sanitel application. Sanitel is an automated solution, consisting of an application and underlying databases, developed to meet the European obligations of each of the Member States to:
- to guarantee the traceability of farm animals kept
- to have a register of operators who keep animals and of establishments where animals are kept
- to manage animal health to enable efficient animal disease control (including by managing statutes regarding animal diseases).
- Sanitel is a business-critical solution that is essential for the realisation of the Client mission. It is currently managed by an external company. The contract with this company will expire soon and a new service provider will take over the service provision.
- Some time ago the solution was migrated to a public cloud environment (MS Azure). Since then there have been issues with the stability and performance of the application. These are currently being resolved by the existing service provider.
Responsibility
- The role of the Expert Business Analyst is to ensure on behalf of the Client that the transition/knowledge transfer to the new service provider proceeds smoothly.
- In addition, it is ensured that the issues that are currently being resolved by the external service provider are followed up on behalf of the Client, so that this ultimately results in a stable and high-performance solution that can be transferred to the new service provider.
- Support the Client in the transition/knowledge transfer from the existing service provider to the new service provider.
- Preparing the adaptive maintenance that may be required from the moment the new service provider starts.
- On behalf of the Client, following up on solutions for issues proposed and delivered by the external service provider, which currently limit the stability and performance of Sanitel.
- Validate whether the proposed/delivered solutions are in line with the Client acceptance criteria.
- The mother tongue must be Dutch; the second national language (French) must be very well mastered, both orally and in writing.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in business, functional and technical analysis
- 10+ years of experience in software development (development, testing, …)
- 10+ years of experience in data modelling
- 8+ years of experience with Sanitel
- 5+ years of experience in the livestock industry
- 5+ years of experience in the (semi) government sector
- 2+ years of experience in SQL databases
- 2+ years of experience in MS Azure
