Service description:
- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and digital transformation efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to design and evolve data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and data needs.
- Backlog and Requirements Management: Translate business data needs into comprehensive data user stories, manage the data product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure efficient delivery.
- Information Modeling: Develop and manage information models and operational information for IT tools, including data products, data warehouses, ensuring data governance standards are met.
- Agile Product Ownership: Act as the Product Owner following Agile-Scrum methodology, collaborating on sprint and release plans with the Scrum Master and other Product Owners.
- Implementation Oversight: Oversee the development and implementation of data products within cross-functional projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Testing and Validation: Prepare and execute test scenarios to validate datasets implemented at the end of each sprint and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Training and Support: Train and assist business users in the optimal usage of data products and tools, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the solutions provided.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying and acting on opportunities for product and process enhancements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, analytics, computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years in a similar role. Experience leading data product teams or managing Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing projects is highly beneficial.
- Analytical and Conceptual Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Project Management and Leadership: Good project management skills with the ability to work autonomously and effectively and exhibit strong leadership qualities. Capable of making fast, difficult decisions and persuading a diverse team.
- Customer Orientation: Strong customer orientation, flexibility, critical thinking, and team spirit.
