We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to lead the creation, customization, and optimization of high-performance WordPress websites.
- This role involves building custom themes and plugins from scratch, with a strong emphasis on using Advanced Custom Fields Pro (ACF Pro) to develop flexible and scalable features tailored to client needs.
- You’ll collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver responsive, SEO-friendly, and secure websites that align with client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fully custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up using industry best practices.
- Utilize ACF Pro to build advanced components such as flexible content fields, repeaters, options pages, and custom Gutenberg blocks.
- Customize and enhance existing themes and plugins based on specific project requirements.
- Translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO using best-in-class techniques.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services into custom WordPress solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to website performance, compatibility, and security.
- Ensure regular updates and security patches are implemented to maintain site integrity.
- Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver on project milestones.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to overall code quality and maintainability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the WordPress ecosystem.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in professional WordPress development.
