We are seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer to take ownership of the Citrix infrastructure, perform advanced issue resolution, and manage environment upgrades.
- This role requires hands-on expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, proactive system monitoring, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and escalation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth technical analysis, troubleshoot high-severity incidents, and resolve complex issues within the Citrix environment.
- Oversee and lead administrative activities carried out by L2 engineers.
- Conduct maintenance tasks, system upgrades, and implement changes outside of business hours as required.
- Manage and support Citrix infrastructure, including Virtual Apps, Desktops, Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), and Netscaler.
- Monitor and review server health reports, resource utilization, user experience, and system performance metrics.
- Administer Active Directory changes, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
- Manage and maintain associated network and storage systems relevant to Citrix infrastructure.
- Escalate issues to vendors when necessary and follow through on resolution.
- Participate in on-call rotation, covering both business hours and weekends for critical support coverage.
