As a portal manager you are responsible for the management and operational coordination of the camera network and the number plate recognition systems within our organization.

  • You have a strong technical background and understand the operation of hardware, firmware and network infrastructures required for a reliable camera.
  • In addition, you follow the latest evolutions in camera technology and proactively make proposals for optimizations.
Main tasks
  • Managing camera inventory
  • Provide technical support in case of malfunctions and problems, including diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Monitoring and maintenance of cameras follow up with the supplier
  • Supervising and managing onboardings and offboardings of cameras with the various stakeholders (including local police zones)
  • Preparation of reports and analyses of the performance and uptime of the camera fleet
  • Follow up SLAs in terms of scope and where necessary escalate supplier performance (to Procurement)
  • Helping to validate technical proposals from internal and external partners
Qualifications
  • Degree in computer science, electronics, engineering, network technology or equivalent through at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Technical knowledge of CCTV, ANPR systems, networks (TCP/IP, PoE, VPN) and firm-ware updates is a plus
  • Experience with hardware and software configuration of camera systems and servers is a plus
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and GDPR guidelines regarding camera images is a plus
  • Experience with ticketing, reporting, knowledge management systems and programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage different stakeholders in terms of content Methodical and accurate work
