Application installation, configuration and administration in production and non-production environments.
Application monitoring, performance tuning and continuous improvement of the efficiency and quality of service.
Performance of applications support and maintenance activities such as incident, change, release and problem resolution.
Writing and validating application procedures manuals, including troubleshooting guides, backup and restore plans.
Automate administrative procedures for recurring system administration activities and provide installation and technical support documentation where required.
Contribution to the structuring, maintenance and development of the technical knowledge base supporting the ICT Operations activities.
Reporting on application availability, performance, capacity and overall usage where required.
Requirements
University Degree and at least 10 years of IT professional experience.
More than 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including deployment, support and maintenance of applications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with administration and support of recent operating system versions of Microsoft Windows Servers and/or Red-Hat Linux on enterprise environments.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT professional in the area of application administration, support and configuration.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with DevOps and automated deployment and configuration scripting (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, Python).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Kubernetes cluster and applications administration.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with configuration management tools for applications (e.g., Puppet).
Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows server-side operating system support and maintenance (RHEL 8+, Windows 2019+).
Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows server-side application administration and troubleshooting.
Excellent knowledge of application containerization, packaging and deployment on Kubernetes clusters (helm charts, operators, pipelines).
Good knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices (version control, automation, pipelines, improve efficiency, feedback loops, fail fast, etc.).
Knowledge of ITIL, including the incident, change and release management processes.
