We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data Engineer with a passion for designing, developing and maintaining robust ETL processes and data warehouses.
- Has extensive experience with SQL databases and preferably NoSQL databases, and a proven track record in optimizing data infrastructures to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest data from various sources.
- Automate data flow processes and ensure data quality throughout the pipeline.
- Collaborate with architects to define and maintain a scalable data architecture.
- Work with both structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) data stores.
- Optimize query performance and manage indexing, partitioning, and replication strategies.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between systems and data sources.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation logic.
- Continuously optimize data systems for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Implement security measures such as access control, encryption, and anonymization.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws like GDPR or HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Data Science/Business Informatics or equivalent.
- Proven experience in the field of data engineering, data warehousing and database management.
