Job Description
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manages effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scope
- Establishes and manages project controls in order to ensure that the milestones are met and
- project products delivered on time and within scope and the business goals are enabled
- Assures and controls quality of the project deliverables
- Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project
- Liaise with Project Board and other key stakeholders
- Assigns and controls the tasks, authorizes work packages, balance priorities and workload in the team, motivates project team members
- Plans and controls project products delivery processes
- Manages effective communication within the project and with external environment of the project
- Produces project management products (like plans, logs, schedules). Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project
- Prepares and presents oral and written technical reports and project presentations
- Organizes and conducts project meetings
Profile Requirements:
- Has knowledge and experience in organizing and providing support for portfolios or programmes
- Has knowledge/experience in the area of Data Privacy, Data Protection Impact Assessments,
- Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment in the environment of EU
- Institutions, understands its challenges and methods for conducting effective analysis/assessment in those areas
- Has excellent conflict management and resolution skills
- Has experience working for/at the public sector, preferably in International organisations or
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in leading at least 1 medium-large ICT project as a project manager
- Knowledge and experience in applying of project management methodologies and methods
- Knowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologies
- Possesses a thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs
- Is conversant with current technologies and trends relevant to the project and the relevant
Certification:
- At least 1 certification among:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PM2 Agile or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
