Currently serving as Head of Test Center at Vitesco Technologies, they oversee the test group’s operations and ensure alignment with company strategies. Their leadership spans the design and development of cross-divisional testing strategies for electrification products, including HV and LV inverters, DCDC converters, and Battery Management Systems (BMS). They are also involved in budget planning, resource allocation, and ensuring team competency through mentoring and hiring activities. Previous roles include leading system tests and managing software test teams at Continental Automotive, where they developed comprehensive test plans, ensured the quality of testing documentation, and led efforts in hybrid electric vehicle projects. Their technical expertise is complemented by strong managerial capabilities, driving the successful execution of testing processes and ensuring timely delivery of results.e

Responsibilities:

• Add Major Tasks herLead and manage a test group, ensuring results align with company strategy and expectations.
• Develop and implement cross-divisional testing strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the build-up and upgrade of test environments for electrification products (HV/LV inverters, DC/DC converters, BMS systems).
• Define and communicate the mission, strategy, and goals for the test group.
• Conduct team mentoring, performance evaluations, and hiring processes.
• Participate in local budget planning and track budget execution for the test group.
• Engage in technical discussions with suppliers regarding test equipment acquisitions.
• Oversee the implementation of quality standards in test processes.
• Manage the development of test plans, estimate resource needs, and allocate tasks to team members.
• Ensure the integration of new team members through mentoring and training programs.
• Handle escalations from Quality Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise the execution of testing activities, ensuring timely and quality results.
• Coordinate with various teams to prepare and update testing documentation and reports.
• Track project testing progress, including defect status and performance baselines.
• Organize and lead regular status meetings and provide updates to management.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for system quality.
• Ensure proper test case coverage and integration of hardware and software components.
• Monitor and approve work package estimations and quotations for the test group.
• Oversee test strategy implementation and validate test results through both manual and automated processes.
