The candidate is a seasoned Supply Chain/Logistics Process Solution Architect and Consultant with over 30 years of experience in the oil, chemical, and agriculture sectors. His expertise spans SAP solutions (including S/4 Hana and BTP) and various domains like upstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemicals, agriculture commodities, and trading. Having worked with major corporations like Shell, Cargill, BASF, INEOS, and Syngenta, he has developed and rolled out complex global SAP templates, focusing on supply chain, procurement, logistics, and trading systems. His experience includes streamlining processes for both upstream and downstream supply chains, as well as implementing real-time exposure tracking solutions. The candidate is known for his strong analytical skills, ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4 Hana solutions in upstream and downstream oil & gas sectors.
- Serve as a design authority for simplified global templates for offshore projects, asset maintenance, and joint ventures.
- Develop and integrate supply chain solutions using CTRM for downstream operations, interfacing with ETRM systems.
- Architect supply chain solutions for agriculture commodities like soy, wheat, and corn, focusing on real-time exposure tracking.
- Lead teams in supply chain rollouts for animal nutrition and commodity trading projects across multiple regions.
- Conduct assessments on interfaces and propose API-enabled solutions for replacing legacy systems.
- Guide the conversion and implementation of SAP APO templates for demand planning and sales/logistics.
- Lead carve-out initiatives, such as for Shell’s French refineries and Irish fuel retail business.
- Oversee the implementation of global SAP templates in acquired Shell businesses like Reliance and Bharat Petroleum.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP templates during mergers and acquisitions.
- Participate in co-developing trade contract modeling solutions in partnership with SAP.
- Design and implement intercompany transfer templates and interfaces with external systems like Oracle TM.
- Coordinate and drive development efforts in Field Logistics for SAP S/4 Hana.
- Develop real-time contract valuation solutions and price fixation systems.
- Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams to reduce custom development needs and simplify designs.
- Contribute to improving SAP solutions and logistics processes through constant feedback and enhancements.
- Guide teams in utilizing best practices for system architecture within SAP S/4 Hana and BTP.
- Maintain expertise in agile methodologies and apply them in project management and system implementation.
