AIX Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AIX Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in managing and optimizing AIX systems.
- As an AIX Engineer, you will perform a range of tasks, including technical solution recommendations, project coordination, and ensuring seamless server management transitions.
- You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, adhere to industry best practices, and create impactful reports for management.

Responsibilities
- Perform system administration tasks in line with established standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend technical alternatives in technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Assist the Project Manager by providing technical project coordination and guidance.
- Liaise with relevant support teams to ensure smooth server management transitions.
- Comply with Change Management and Problem Management procedures, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) defined in the Problem Severity Matrix.
- Generate regular reports for management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within AIX environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
