We are seeking a skilled AIX Engineer with strong experience in managing and maintaining IBM AIX and Red Hat Linux environments.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for system configuration, performance tuning, automation, and ensuring maximum system availability and security across enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor IBM AIX and Red Hat Linux operating systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain AIX and Red Hat Linux systems, as well as associated tools and system management utilities.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts (shell, Python, etc.) to improve operational efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
- Design and implement robust security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Configure and maintain IBM Power Systems using IBM HMC.
