The service manages, under the supervision of the Asset Data Operations Team Lead, the reference data for all of Elia (TranGIS) in which geographical locations and the electrical functions of the grid are referenced, as well as all links between these data and their life cycle.
Main task is to insert new grid configurations into the database based on the content of infrastructure projects.
Drawing the geographical as-built model (tranGIS) of the underground connections (drawing at scale 1:10,000 and more accurate). This includes new connections and adjustments after cable relocations and repairs.
Input of (geographic) data related to the terrains and buildings.
This is done in close collaboration with the Infrastructure Project Leader and based on the delivered documents (e.g. The project note, scenario, construction plans, as-built plans…). The service follows up the data delivery.
The service continuously follows up the evolution of his/her projects to plan his/her own work and provide stakeholders with the timely input. The service permanently takes care of his/her projects up to and including the acceptance and approval of the as built design.
An expert in handling or organizing data in an operational context with the aim of improving the overall data quality.
Requirements
Experience with the use of databases.
A thorough knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
A good knowledge of French and or Dutch (one of the 2 languages must be fluent)
Organized, quality-driven and customer-oriented.
A good communicator and you have good interpersonal skills.
A good team spirit and you can support the other team members when necessary.
Work autonomously and accept responsibilities.
Technical knowledge of electrical installations on the Elia grid.
