We are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Engineer to join our team in developing software solutions for cutting-edge automotive computing platforms, including High Performance Computers (HPC), Domain and Zonal Controllers, and legacy systems.
- The role involves developing low-level hardware-related software such as device drivers and hardware abstraction layers using C for various microcontroller architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software (in C) for automotive computing platforms including HPC, domain/zonal controllers, and legacy ECUs.
- Collaborate with global product teams on solution-level activities and release trains.
- Participate in requirements analysis and clarification with stakeholders.
- Define and document software unit design in line with architecture and requirement specifications.
- Implement and test embedded software components, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Execute both low-level and high-level software design for assigned modules.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution throughout the development process.
- Estimate task efforts, participate in planning, and conduct code/design reviews.
- Support integration and verification activities.
- Share technical findings and mentor junior team members to foster knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
