Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Initiating projects to produce initial validated project sheets and handing them over to the Project Manager and project team once the projects begin with the definition.
- Further developing the business architecture content based on the enterprise architecture through in-depth business analyses with a project/milestone-driven focus, so that the impact of the chosen strategy becomes clear and the business can make the right choices.
- Involving business stakeholders in the business analyses and validation of the chosen solutions.
- Aligning the business architecture content with the IT Solution Architecture, and communicating this to the project team in conjunction with the IT Solution Architect, so that the project team can focus on realizing the desired business solution. • Monitoring the business architecture during project/program implementation.
- Guiding and sharing knowledge with others who take on a business analysis, process analysis, or functional analysis role within projects.
Expected outputs:
- Developing the Solution Business Architecture based on the strategic framework and enterprise architecture, in line with the business milestones.
- Project sheets including a clear description of the scope, costs, timing, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and resource demands.
- High-level and detailed business requirement analyses with an impact on the organization, processes, and IT.
- Documenting and updating the organization’s expected deliverables/artifacts.
Motivation:
- The capabilities within the Purchasing Direct Goods and Business Partner domains have many connections with other capabilities. This impacts the
- complexity of the projects (e.g., number of stakeholders to be managed, number of system integrations).
- The domain operations are still maturing, and a multi-year roadmap is being developed. It is therefore an environment in full transition, which also brings complexity to business architecture and stakeholder management (e.g., the future application landscape will most likely be significantly different from the current situation).
- This involves replacing an experienced Business Architect.
