Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support the organization’s operations and development goals. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure: Plan, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, including the deployment of virtual machines, networks, storage solutions, and monitoring tools.
- Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents that cannot be addressed by the Service Desk or are generated by the monitoring system, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution.
- Security Policy Implementation: Implement and manage security policies to ensure the integrity of cloud-based systems.
- Identity Management: Utilize Azure Active Directory for identity management, ensuring secure authentication and access control for all users.
- Compliance Enforcement: Enforce compliance standards using tools like Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel, ensuring that the cloud environment adheres to industry regulations such as ISO 27001 or CMMC.
- Continuous Monitoring: Use Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics to continuously monitor cloud resources, ensuring they operate at optimal performance.
- Cost Efficiency Management: Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, identifying areas for potential savings while maintaining performance standards.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve any system or performance issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training sessions for the SIS team, equipping them with the skills needed to manage and maintain the Windows cloud infrastructure post-project.
- Documentation: Ensure all configurations, solutions, and processes are well-documented and comply with project requirements, enabling effective handover and future maintenance.
- Time Zone Flexibility: Be flexible to work and support teams across different time zones depending on the project needs, ensuring smooth coordination and project delivery.
Technical Skills
- Very good knowledge of O365, Azure, Entra ID, Pureview.
- Very good knowledge of Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Very good Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, MDATP, MCAS)
- Good knowledge of IAC.
- VMware Virtual Infrastructure Management Knowledge
Qualification and Certifications
- BE CS / IT/ Electronics & Communication / MCA
- Microsoft Azure Certification
- Vmware
- Experience working for an international group.
- Familiar with ISO 27001 or CMMC
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing large Windows server based platforms.
