Data Engineer
Job Description
- We are looking for an innovative Data Engineer to design scalable data pipelines and optimize advanced Data & Analytics solutions.
- This role involves leveraging Big Data, AI/ML, and Data Warehousing tools to drive data-driven decision-making and transform business processes.
- You will collaborate with teams to define key metrics, implement data architectures, and integrate analytics seamlessly. Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and Agile methodologies is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion and data preparation pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow.
- Define and monitor KPIs and project performance indicators.
- Lead the analysis and implementation of complex data applications using a range of technologies, including:
- Traditional Data Warehousing and ETL tools (e.g., DataStage, Teradata).
- Analytics and Reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI).
- Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Machine Learning/AI tools (e.g., Python)..
Technical Skills
- Passion for Data & Analytics and a natural orientation towards innovation and transformation.
- Strong ability to simplify and summarize complex information.
- Proficiency in data architecture design patterns.
- Experience in Data Modeling and ETL tools.
- Strong command of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Familiarity with analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of the Agile Framework, especially Scrum methodology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar scientific disciplines.
- 3–5 years of experience in the Data & Analytics field.
- Significant experience in project leadership for data-driven initiatives.
