Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Data Engineer (Azure, GIS) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium.
- The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines from REST APIs using Python, SQL, and ETL tools (Azure Synapse) to ingest, transform, and prepare data.
- Process and transform complex JSON and GIS data into structured datasets optimized for analysis and reporting, including parsing, transforming, and validating JSON data to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Load and organize processed data into cloud-based Azure Data Lake storage ensuring accessibility and performance and document ETL processes, metadata definitions, data lineage, and technical specifications.
- Implement data quality checks, logging, and monitoring within data pipelines to support maintainability and troubleshooting.
