We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Governance Manager to lead the definition, documentation, and management of enterprise data assets.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining data governance frameworks, data dictionaries, and business glossaries, while driving alignment on data definitions and standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret technical documentation such as API specifications and database models.
- Proactively engage with business stakeholders and system owners to gather knowledge and define data standards.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, and data governance frameworks to ensure consistency and clarity in data usage.
- Support the implementation and adoption of data catalog tools, such as Atlan or other equivalent platforms.
- Promote best practices for data quality, integrity, and stewardship across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in data governance, data cataloging, or data management roles.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation (APIs, data models, schemas).
