A Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of databases.
They ensure that data is stored securely, is easily accessible, and performs efficiently across various applications.

Install and configure database systems, ensuring that database environments are optimized and configured correctly for performance and scalability.
Implement database security measures, including user access control, encryption, and data masking. Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
Regularly monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries, indexing, and database schema to ensure high performance.
Implement and test backup and disaster recovery procedures. Ensure that data is backed up regularly and can be recovered effectively. Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server DBA) are a plus.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), or in a similar role, managing complex database environments.
Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. Ability to work under pressure and handle database-related emergencies efficiently. Technical Skills:
