Job Description
- A Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and networking issues.
- This role involves troubleshooting and resolving problems that users face in a corporate or organizational environment.
- The engineer will also handle hardware setups, installations, and system updates, ensuring smooth operations for end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote support for desktop, laptop, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions and provide timely solutions.
- Respond to user support requests via email, phone, or in-person.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
