We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to lead and standardize the electrical design process for our commercial wind-assisted propulsion systems.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical schematics, coordinating component sourcing, drafting high-quality technical documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders including classification societies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize electrical design for propulsion system components and onboard integration.
- Create detailed electrical schematics for control panels and onboard equipment using tools like EPLAN.
- Draft comprehensive technical documentation: design reports, FAT/SAT procedures, installation manuals, and quality specifications.
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BoMs); liaise with suppliers and the procurement team for component acquisition.
- Collaborate with classification societies for system certification and compliance.
