Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Manager to lead and optimize the financial operations of our organization.
- This role involves managing both fiat and crypto assets, overseeing budgets, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing, and providing data-driven insights to support company-wide decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial planning, treasury management, and compliance, particularly within a startup or foundation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve the company’s financial infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- Establish and manage proprietary treasury systems for both fiat and cryptocurrency, maintaining asset diversification.
- Oversee invoice processing, payments, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assess financial needs for various operations, including working capital, cash flow, and departmental budget allocations.
- Manage and track departmental budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling and analysis, including forecasts for operational costs and revenue.
- Prepare corporate financial reports and internal management statements in line with reporting standards.
- Maintain and update financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with evolving best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with organizational strategies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while proactively uncovering opportunities for sustainable growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA, CFA, or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within startups or foundations.
