HVAC Engineer (SN0724)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and oversight of HVAC systems for industrial buildings, particularly in the Oil & Gas and petrochemical sectors.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HVAC project specifications, design HVAC systems, perform calculations, and produce related drawings.
- Ensure timely reporting on engineering activities to the Building Section Head.
- Collaborate with the building and civil works team, as well as other disciplines (Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Firefighting, etc.) to manage project interfaces.
- Review and apply client project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure quality and HSE objectives are met throughout the project.
- Review and validate contractor designs and deliverables, ensuring they align with project requirements.
- Monitor contractor progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
- Ensure all contractor documents incorporate feedback from relevant disciplines.
- Work in an international setting, with availability for both short- and long-term assignments.
- Develop automated tools for data management and workflow efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC system engineering for industrial buildings, preferably in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical sector.
- Strong background in HVAC system design using 2D and 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
