Job Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the maintenance, expansion, and administration of time and access control systems, data backup environments, and IT infrastructure.
- The role includes patch management, system documentation, IT project implementation, and coordination with external service providers.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in system administration, IT security, and project management, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with global IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand time and access control systems and their integration with building security.
- Perform patch management and ensure system security and stability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all managed systems.
- Act as the primary IT contact for international locations, ensuring seamless communication and support.
- Independently design, implement, and manage IT projects for infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with service providers for both internal and externally operated systems.
- Administer and manage central data backup environments and media storage.
- Serve as a key contact for server and storage system environments.
- Support external partners in performing system maintenance and upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in system administration, especially in time and access control systems.
- SAP
- IBM Power/SAN/Storage environments
- IT project management and handling external service providers.
- Strong problem-solving skills
