IOT Engineer (SN0749)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IoT Engineer to join our globally distributed team in developing cutting-edge telemetry and data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for backend development, a strong grasp of IoT connectivity challenges, and experience with scalable data systems and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global team in a fully remote environment.
- Architect and build scalable service APIs for streaming data services using Python and Golang.
- Develop and implement robust data governance, auditing, and management tools within the telemetry platform.
- Work closely with infrastructure teams to support both cloud-based SaaS and containerized on-premise solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy new features from specification to production, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on technical designs from team members.
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving, brainstorming ideas, and delivering optimal engineering solutions.
- Travel 2–4 weeks per year for global events, team meetings, and external collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience).
