We are looking for a skilled IoT Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of connected solutions for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- This role involves working on advanced OCPP protocols, optimizing cloud-based architectures, and enhancing our internal operations platform.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IoT communication standards, cloud services (especially AWS), and a commitment to continuous improvement and technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance server-side implementations beyond OCPP 1.6, including features like charging profiles, Autocharge, and Plug & Charge.
- Improve security by implementing OCPP security profiles, aligned with evolving protocol standards.
- Migrate and evolve current systems to a scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services such as AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, and Amazon SQS.
- Implement IoT protocols such as MQTT to enable reliable and efficient communication between EV terminals and backend systems.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the internal OPS Business Platform used by support teams for remote station management.
- Design and implement new features that enable remote diagnostics, access control, and maintenance operations.
- Manage the deployment of services in AWS, ensuring system reliability and proactive monitoring.
- Respond promptly to production issues such as connectivity failures or communication errors from charging terminals.
- Stay current with developments in OCPP protocols, integrating new features to keep systems cutting-edge.
- Apply best practices in software development, maintaining code quality, stability, and performance.
- Conduct technical research to identify emerging technologies and drive continuous improvements in IoT infrastructure.
