Job Description
The Information Security Architect supports the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in managing and organizing the cybersecurity strategy and its implementation to ensure that digital systems, services and assets are adequately secured and protected. The candidate plans and designs solutions according to security-by-design principles, with a special focus on infrastructure (Cloud and On Premise), systems, assets, software, hardware and cybersecurity controls.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to reason abstractly across multiple domains.
- At least 10 years of demonstrable experience in key architecture roles within ICT projects.
- In-depth expertise in Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Cloud services.
- Extensive experience on Azure Cloud Security and SIEM implementations.
- Experience in developing reference architectures.
- Skill in identifying and assessing alternative solutions and formulating recommendations within a broad context.
- Conceptual knowledge of BPMS, microservices, application containerisation and enterprise integration patterns.
- Conceptual knowledge of database management and infrastructure-related architectural principles.
- Strong communication skills, flexibility and ability to present complex topics in an accessible manner to diverse audiences.
- Experience within government context is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar cybersecurity architecture and design projects.
- Any certification in the field of IT architecture is an asset.
