We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to be the go-to technical contact for end users on the work floor. You’ll play a crucial role in providing on-site IT support, assisting with hardware/software installations, and collaborating with the IT Service Desk to resolve issues that cannot be handled remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for on-site IT support and assist end users directly.
- Collaborate closely with the IT Service Desk to handle escalated incidents requiring physical presence.
- Set up and configure workplace environments including hardware, software, telephony, and cabling.
- Create and maintain IT documentation such as manuals and work instructions.
- Contribute to the improvement of IT support processes and overall service quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Completed MBO level 4 education in ICT or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as a service desk or workplace support technician.
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented work style.
