Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will support production in Ås torp by developing production processes and systems, working on improvement and investment projects, and ensuring efficient, quality-assured manufacturing methods. The role involves collaboration with various departments to optimize production flows, machinery, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve production systems in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Lead and participate in projects focused on production improvements.
- Design and update production flows, manufacturing methods, and machinery.
- Handle improvement works for production and terminal processes.
- Conduct quality work and root cause investigations.
- Perform productivity calculations and update business systems (e.g., BOM, operation times).
- Support management with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist purchasing with evaluating new suppliers.
Required Skills:
- LEAN principles knowledge
- 2D CAD skills (factory layout)
- MS Office (especially Excel)
- ERP systems knowledge

- English
