Job Description
We are looking for a mechanical draftsman: the cell in which he will end up carries out maintenance on the movable heritage
- Some prior knowledge or at least interest/insight into large movable structures is advisable. If he also has insight into which materials are ideally used in which circumstances, this is very useful.
Responsibility
- Knowledge of materials and experience with drawing up implementation plans for a studio with the above-mentioned activities is highly appreciated. Plans must be delivered digitally so that they can be opened with CAD programs.
- However, the most important thing is that he knows the above machines and can therefore also provide the plans with the necessary degree of finishing, indications for operations, …
- This draftsman will be expected to make drawings that can be carried out by our employees. Logical dimensioning follows from technical insight and knowledge of the machinery with which we work.
- He will then come to the work floor several times and go over his plans in close contact with the employees and thus learn if necessary.
Skills
- Drawing of parts of our movable heritage (lock gates and movable bridges)
- Mainly mechanical and construction drawing work
- Making implementation plans for our workshop:
- Turning and milling work
- Cotter bench
- Cut and fold bench
- Fire table
- Assembling and welding
- Small carpentry
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering Technician
- Knowledge of mechanical and construction drawings
