Job Description
We are looking for a Monitoring Engineer to design, implement, and enhance IT monitoring solutions that meet customer needs.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with monitoring tools, application performance monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- This role involves collaborating with analysts, developers, and architects, ensuring seamless integration of monitoring solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and utilize monitoring tools to assess customer needs and translate them into monitoring requirements.
- Implement, test, and optimize monitoring solutions using existing tools.
- Work in an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning and development.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects to design new and enhance existing monitoring applications.
- Align with engineers to ensure architecture standards and guidelines are followed.
- Perform functional analysis and provide work estimates for proposed changes.
- Continuously learn and implement new IT monitoring strategies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in monitoring tools and concepts
- Expert knowledge of Datadog
- application architecture and hybrid cloud/on-premise systems.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- PowerShell, Puppet, Ansible
- Splunk query language, Python, JavaScript
