A NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the IT infrastructure, ensuring network systems run efficiently and with minimal downtime.
They act as the first line of defense in identifying and resolving network and system issues, ensuring high availability and performance for enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network infrastructure and systems in real-time to identify and respond to alerts, anomalies, or outages.
Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and other hardware or software.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patch management, configuration backups, and software updates.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users and escalate more complex issues to higher-tier support.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve problems efficiently. Technical Skills:
