Power Systems Engineer (SN0344)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to analyze technical information for specific projects, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and tenders that impact grid connection designs.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in calculating values and creating single-line diagrams and layouts of electrical networks, encompassing substations, transmission lines, and delivery stations
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate received technical information for projects, including RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, to assess impacts on grid connection designs.
- Calculate values and develop single-line diagrams and layouts for electrical networks, including substations, transmission lines, and delivery stations.
- Create optimized solutions, perform technical descriptions, and calculate interconnection stations and transmission lines.
- Provide support during executive design phases in the power systems area.
- Offer technical assistance during site surveys, development, and construction phases.
- Integrate construction phase information to enhance technical descriptions and drawings for interconnection stations and transmission lines.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Systems (mandatory).
- Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in electrical power systems, specifically in transmission and distribution systems.
