A newly created role for a Process Improvement Engineer within the Engineering department.
You will lead projects to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
The role offers the chance to develop and expand your expertise within a dynamic, forward-thinking business that prides itself on innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth analyses of current workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity across site operations.
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies (including Six Sigma) throughout the facility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce and develop best practices in production. Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or a related role within a sheet metal or fabrication environment.
Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field). Experience-based candidates will also be considered.
Strong understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process mapping tools.
Must have a collaborative mindset and a humble attitude toward working with others. Technical Skills:
